Coeliac disease (CD), a gluten-sensitive enteropathy, is treated with a gluten-free diet. Cereals, such as wheat, rye and barley damage the small-intestial mucosa of patients wich CD, whereas maize, rice and millet are harmless. To guarantee this diet for the CD-patients it is important to control the gluten-free declared products.
